BATIK FRIDAY FOR PUBLIC & PRIVATE SECTOR

COLOMBO(News 1st): The State Ministry of Batik, Handloom Textiles, and Local Apparel Products has requested public and private sector employees to come to work one day a week dressed in batik and handloom fabrics. Public and private sector employees should do so on every Friday of the week, according to State Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara. A circular in this regard will be issued through the Ministry of Public Service in the future as well, he further added.
