Fill vacant posts for coroners : Ali Sabry

COLOMBO (News1st): Justice minister Ali Sabry has instructed officials to take swift measures to fill 302 vacant positions for coroners across the country. The directive had been issued during an event to provide protecting clothing for the safety of coroners conducting autopsies amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. There are 824 coroner's divisions in the country, the justice ministry said in a statement. It added that the vacancies would be gazetted to select the candidates based on their qualifications through an online mechanism, to fill the vacantpositions.
