Colombo (News 1st); The Ministry of Health said it has taken measures to review the quarantine period.
Deputy Director-General of Health Services Dr. Hemantha Herath speaking to reporters on Friday (11) said the committee of experts appointed to review the quarantine period will forward their recommendations to the Director-General of Health Services on Saturday (12).
The committee will meet on Saturday evening to discuss the recommendations, he said.
Speaking further he said over 14,000 PCR tests are carried out on a daily basis in the country adding these tests cost approximately over Rs. 10 Million daily.
