257 new COVID-19 cases confirmed today (21)

COLOMBO (News 1st): A total of 257 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed so far on Saturday (Nov. 21), the Government Information Department said. Thereby, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has risen to 19,537. According to the Epidemiology Unit, 5837 active COVID-19 patients are receiving treatment. Another 319 COVID-19 patients were discharged today (Nov. 21), following recovery, and the total number of recoveries has risen to 13,590. The COVID-19 death toll in Sri Lanka stands at 74.
