COVID-19 death toll in SL rises to 73 following 04 deaths reported on Thursday (19)

Colombo (News 1st);  04 COVID-19 deaths were reported on Thursday (19) raising Sri Lanka's COVID-19 death toll to 73, confirmed the Director General of Health Services.

The details of the COVID-19 victims are as follows:

01. A 70-year-old male from Colombo 10 passed away upon admission to a private hospital in Colombo. The cause of death was ruled as COVID-19 related pneumonia.

02. A 27-year-old female from Colombo 15 who was identified as a COVID-19 patient and was admitted to the Mulleriyawa Base Hospital, where she passed away. The cause of death was ruled as liver failure exacerbated by COVID-19 infection.

03. A 59-year-old female from Pokunuwita in the Kalutara district who passed away at her residence. The cause of death was ruled as chest pain and High Blood Pressure exacerbated by COVID-19 infection.

04. An 86-year-old male from Haltota in the Kalutara District who passed away at his residence. The cause of death was ruled as chest infection caused by COVID-19.
