Colombo (News 1st); 586 COVID-19 cases were reported on Thursday (29), said the Department of Government Information.
115 cases were reported from Quarantine Centers.
467 other cases were close contacts of the Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster.
In addition, 04 seafarers - 01 Sri Lankan and 03 from Indonesia - also tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday (29).
Accordingly, 5630 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.
4142 people have recovered completely and left hospitals and the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported in Sri Lanka rose to 9791.
