Colombo (News 1st); Samagi Jana Balabegaya National List MP Diana Gamage said she decided to support President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Speaking in Parliament on Friday (23) Diana Gamage defended her decision to vote in favor of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution on Thursday (22).

Likening President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to a stallion, Diana Gamage said the President is unable to perform his tasks as he is surrounded by mules.
She said Sri Lanka needs an Executive President to develop the country.
Diana Gamage said she would have supported Sajith Premadasa if he was President and move such legislation in Parliament adding she made her decision to support the 20th Amendment to the Constitution based on her conscience and not based on one person.
