60 new COVID-19 cases were reported from Minuwangoda cluster

Colombo (News 1st); 60 new COVID-19 cases were reported on Tuesday (20), said the Department of Government Information.
Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, who is also the Head of the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), said 35 of these cases were detected from 02 separate factories in Katunayake.
The Department of Government Information said all 60 new cases were close contacts.
Accordingly, the total number of COVID-19 cases reported from the Minuwangoda Cluster is at 2222.
