COLOMBO (News1st): A video footage showing politicians engaged in a discussion with Zaharan Hashim, the  April 21 attacks mastermind, in 2015, has been revealed before a presidential commission. The video had been produced before the commission probing the April 21 attacks during the testimony of M.A. Abdul Rahman, a defeated parliamentary election candidate from Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC). The meeting had been a political discussion that had been held at least a week before the 2015 parliamentary elections, the witness told investigators. Abdul Rahman and former SLMC councillor Shibly Farook had been seen engaged in the discussion with Zahran Hashim and his brother Mohamed Zaini. In the video, former governor M.L.A.M Hizbullah had been discussing matters relating to funds worth one million riyals received from Saudi Arabia. The conversation had revolved around whether the money had been received from Saudi Arabia for Hizbullah's political activities or to the Hira Foundation.
