Underworld gangster's mother arrested in Kottawa

Colombo (News 1st); The mother of notorious underworld criminal Janith Madusanka De Silva alias ' Podi Lassie ' was arrested by the Western Province (North) Crimes Division on Tuesday (25) morning.
She was arrested in Kottawa and is charged with using money earned from large scale drug trafficking.
At the time of arrest, she was in the possession of Rs. 51,000/- in cash, 05 mobile phones, and a Bank Account Book.
The 50-year-old suspect is a resident from Thelwatte and she will be produced to the Nugegoda Magistrate's Court.
