Laboratory worker at Government Analyst's Department arrested for possession of Heroin

COLOMBO (News 1st): A laboratory worker attached to the Government Analyst's Department was arrested for the possession of Heroin, police said on Monday (Aug 17). The suspect was arrested in the Moratuwahena area in Athurugiriya. According to the Sri Lanka Police, 18.73 grams of Heroin was discovered in the suspect's possession. The suspect, who is a resident of Matara, will be produced at the Kaduwela Magistrates Court today.
