Colombo (News 1st); UNP Candidate Navin Dissanayake believes he too can become the leader of the United National Party and eventually become the Prime Minister and President of Sri Lanka.
Navin Dissanayake openly called for a leadership change in the United National Party.
Taking a jab at the present party leadership, Dissanayake said a person should not remain as leader for more than 26 years and said he would express these sentiments to UNP Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe during his visit on the 25th of July to Nuwara Eliya.
Noting he only joined with Mahinda Rajapaksa for three years to support the efforts in the war, Navin Dissanayake said he returned to the United National Party to never leave again.
