COLOMBO (News 1st): Former Director of the State Intelligence, Major General (Retd.) Kapila Hendawitharana will appear at the Presidential Commission appointed to look into the April 21st attacks.
Major General (Retd.) Kapila Hendawitharana will appear at the commission on Wednesday (July 8), based on the summons issued by the commission.
Moreover, DIG Nalaka De Silva, the Former Chief of the Terrorism Investigation Division of Sri Lanka Police and a Former Senior Officer at the State Intelligence, will also appear at the Presidential Commission today.
According to the Presidential Commission appointed to look into the April 21st attacks, so far evidence has been recorded from 206 people including Police Officers, Army officers, politicians and religious leaders.
The Presidential Commission's term is due to expire in September.
