448 suspects arrested over the possession of drugs in Western Province

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police have arrested 448 suspects over the possession of drugs during a special operation conducted in the Western province. According to Police, stocks of Heroin, Cannabis, narcotic called ICE and Mawa were seized during the operation. The Special Crimes Prevention Operation was conducted from 7:00 am on Sunday (July 5), based on the instructions of Western Province Senior DIG, Deshabandu Tennakoon. Further, 111 warranted suspects were also arrested during the special operation.
