Over 300 arrested for possession of drugs during a raid in Western province

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police arrested 389 suspects over the possession of drugs during a special raid conducted in the Western province. The Special Crimes Prevention Operation was conducted from 6:00 am on Friday (July 3) to 5:00 am on Saturday (July 4), based on the instructions of Western Province Senior DIG, Deshabandu Tennakoon. According to Police, stocks of Heroin, Cannabis, and illicit alcohol were seized during the operation.
