Colombo (News 1st); Former Sri Lankan Cricket Captain Kumar Sangakkara appeared at the 'Special Investigation Unit on Prevention of Offenses Relating to Sports' to provide a statement, with regard to the 2011 Cricket World Cup Final fixing claims, made by Ex-Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage.
Sangakkara arrived at the 'Special Investigation Unit on Prevention of Offenses Relating to Sports' at 09:30 on Thursday morning.
The 'Special Investigation Unit on Prevention of Offenses Relating to Sports' so far recorded statements from Former Chief of Selectors Aravinda De Silva and Cricketer Upul Tharanga.
