COLOMBO (News 1st): Rear Admiral D.K.P. Dassanayake has been summoned to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to probe incidents of Political Victimization, on Wednesday (July 1). D.K.P. Dasanayake will appear at the Commission for the third time today, to testify on a complaint he lodged over being politically victimized in the case filed at the High Court regarding the abduction and disappearance of 11 youths, based on false evidence. Moreover, Former Commissioner of Prisons, Emil Ranjan Lamahewa, is also due to testify before the Commission today. Emil Ranjan Lamahewa will appear at the commission today to testify on a complaint he lodged concerning the case filed at the High Court over the 2012 Welikada Prison riot that killed 27 inmates; as it was filed to seek political vengeance.
