WHO second wave warning on COVID-19 should be taken seriously : GMOA

Colombo (News 1st); The Government Medical Officers' Association said warnings issued by the World Health Organization of a second wave of the virus should be taken seriously.
GMOA Secretary, Dr. Senal Fernando speaking to reporters said the National Institute of Epidemiology had noted at least 68,000 tests should be carried out to prevent a second wave for the coronavirus.
The GMOA said it continues to request the President's Task Force and the Health Secretary to provide the health sector with maximum support to prevent a second wave of COVID-19 in the country.
