Total COVID-19 cases at 1889

COLOMBO (News 1st): The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country as of Monday (June 15) has risen to 1889, according to the Ministry of Health. A total of 05 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed on Sunday evening, and all 05 were Sri Lanka Navy personnel. According to the Epidemiology Unit at the Ministry of Health, there are 591 active COVID-19 patients receiving medical treatment. The total number of recoveries increased to 1287, after 35 patients were discharged on Sunday, following complete recovery.
