Colombo (News 1st): The Government has set up guidelines for people to follow when the lockdown/curfew is relaxed in the Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Puttalam Districts on Monday (11) to restore normalcy after 52 days.
Authorities request the public to maintain social distancing and adhere to health guidelines when they are engaging in social activities.
As of 9th May, there were 150 patients discovered from the Colombo District, 36 from the Gampaha District, 35 patients from the Puttalam District and 34 patients in the Kalutara District.
1) According to the President’s Media Division:
While the curfew is in force in the districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara and Puttalam, the resumption of civilian life and state and private sector activities will begin from 11th of May.
Sri Lanka's state and government businesses should open from 10 am on May 11 and partial curfews will continue.

The Last Digit NIC Rule will be in effect in areas where the curfew is in force from the 11th of May.
This system does not apply to areas where the curfew is relaxed.
3) The Expressways will be completely open to the public starting from the 11th of May, including the Southern
Expressway, the outer-circular expressway and the Colombo - Katunayaka highway will be open.
4) The Samurdhi Development Department stated that the second stage of granting the 5000 rupee allowance for the elderly, disabled and the sick will commence in all districts.
The allowance will be given from the 18th of May to those who did not receive it in the first stage.
5) The Sri Lanka Transport board said, 1500 CTB busses will be added into operation from Monday.
Busses will be in operation only within the district and will target office hours.
426 buses are currently in operation in order to transport health officials.
