No COVID-19 patients at Lady Ridgeway Hospital

Deputy Inspector General of Police Ajith Rohana said there are no COVID-19 infected children at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children. Speaking at a press conference, the DIG said it was confirmed by the Director of the Hospital, adding as a result of rumours of COVID-19 cases at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, parents are not coming forward to get treatment for their children from the hospital. The Police DIG was firm in saying strict legal action will be taken against all those who promote such false and fabricated Information. He once again urged the General Public not to be deceived by reports published in social media and other platforms which lack credibility.
