WHO donates medical equipment worth Rs. 105 million

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The World Health Organization has donated medical equipment worth Rs. 105 million in order to strengthen the treatment of the Coronavirus in the country. The Ministry of Health stated that the WHO through the donations handed down by the Australian government had provided a stock of essential medical equipment in order to treat the Coronavirus in the country. The donation was made by the Sri Lankan representative of the WHO, Dr. Razia Pendse to the local Secretary of Health, Badhrani Jayawardena yesterday (March 20).
