COLOMBO (News 1st) The Government of Sri Lanka has imposed a travel ban on all passengers from South Korea, Italy and Iran.
Accordingly, the Government has informed all airlines to refrain from carrying passengers from those three countries to Sri Lanka.
Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority H.M.C.Nimalsiri speaking to News 1st said the decision will be in effect for a period of two weeks.
The decision was taken based on the advice of Director General of Health Services, Dr. Anil Jasinghe.
