Price of bread and bakery items to be reduced

Colombo (News 1st) - The All Island Bakery Owners Association notes that they will take steps to reduce the price of bread and other bakery items. Chairman of the Association N.K. Jayawardene noted that this step is being taken in a bid to ensure that the Government's tax reliefs reach the people of the country. He noted that the price adjustment will be finalized following the association's meeting set for this afternoon.
