Parliament to be dissolved in 9 days

Colombo (News 1st) - Parliament will be dissolved in 9 days, according to Minister of Education Dullas Allahaperuma The Minister who attended an event in Malimbada, Matara on Friday (Feb 21) stated that the term of the current Parliament would come to end in 9 days. He called on the people to think about the country before casting their votes at the next election. Allahaperuma also revealed that the Ministry of Education has bills to settle to the tune of Rs 6bn, for the previous administration's 'Nearest School is the Best School' program. The Minister noted that the Government does not have ability to settle these dues.
