Colombo (News 1st): The Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU), Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) and the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) led by Parliamentarians Patali Champika Ranawaka, Mano Ganesan and Rauf Hakeem, respectively have said they will join the new political movement led by opposition leader Sajith Premadasa.
The party leaders of the new alliance issuing a media release said that they will join the new alliance to establish a government that can fulfill the aspirations of the general public.
The party leaders further reiterated that they will join the “Samagi Jana Balavegaya” established under the leadership of Sajith Premadasa and ensure it's a victory to establish a strong progressive and energetic government defeating the current government that has created an anomaly in the country after obtaining power through deceit and lies.
