UNP Working Committee set to meet today

Colombo (News 1st) - The working committee of the UNP is set to meet today. Party General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said that the meeting will be held at 4PM today at the Party Headquarters Sirikotha with party leader Ranil Wickramanayake expected to attend. One of the main talking points will be the future activities of the new alliance that is to be formed under the leadership of the UNP. MP Ranjith Madduma Bandara who was nominated for the post of General Secretary of the new political movement under Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is expected to receive approval from the UNP working committee. The working committee of the UNP last met on the 30th of January.
