Ayurvedic measures to prevent Corona virus

Colombo (News 1st): The Department of Ayurveda has informed of measures that could be taken to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. Dr. H.P.K Ajith Kumara attached to the Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Teaching Hospital said leaflets are also been distributed. He further stated that fumigation can be done utilizing Ayurvedic leaves which contain disinfecting properties. Dr. H.P.K Ajith Kumara noted that like the ancient medicinal methods adopted by our ancestors, there is a possibility of cleansing the nose through oil drops. He added that their houses, rooms, could be fumigated using Ayurvedic leaves which contain disinfecting properties. Accordingly, he noted that bus drivers too can fumigate their buses in this manner prior to their journey.
