UNP suspends Ranjan Ramanayake's party membership

Colombo (News 1st) - The party membership of parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake has been temporarily suspended. The suspension was given as a disciplinary action due to the alleged phone call recordings Ranjan Ramanayake had in his possession. The General Secretary of the UNP Akila Viraj Kariyawasam made the announcement at a press briefing that happened at the Sirikotha UNP headquarters today.
