President leaves to India on a 2-day visit

Colombo (News 1st): President Gotabaya Rajapaksa departed for India on a two-day visit a short while ago. With this, the President begins his inaugural overseas visit. The President is due to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as the Indian President Ramnath Kovind during his tour. The President’s tour party will consist of 5 members, including Secretary to the President PB Jayasundara, Foreign Secretary Ravinatha Ariyasingha, Treasury Secretary SR Attygalle, and Presidential Advisor Lalith Weeratunge
