Six arrested in Nainamadu for treasure hunting

COLOMBO(News 1st) - Six individuals were arrested at Nainamadu reserve, Puliyankulama for treasure hunting. According to the police, another suspect had fled the scene. Police added that several religious objects suspected to be excavated by the suspects were discovered at the site. Two motorbikes used by the suspects were taken into police custody. According to the police, the suspects are residents of Vavuniya and Nadhunkeni. They were scheduled to be produced before the Vavuniya Magistrate Court today(November 24).
