Prices of Litro gas cylinders reduced

Colombo (News 1st): Consumer Affairs Authority notes that the price of a 12.5kg gas cylinder in the Colombo district will be reduced by Rs. 240, while the price will be reduced by Rs. 251 in other districts from midnight tonight (October 4). Accordingly, in Colombo District, the new Litro prices of a 12.5 kg cylinder is Rs 1493.00 (down from Rs 1733.00), 5 kg Cylinder is Rs 598.00 (down from Rs 693.00) and 2.3 kg cylinder is Rs 289.00 (down from Rs 319.00). Further in other districts, the price of a 12.5 kg Domestic Gas Cylinder will be Rs. 1,482. The Consumer Affairs Authority noted that they made these reductions based on an agreement they arrived at with Litro Gas Lanka.
