Postal voting for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election today

COLOMBO (News 1st) Postal voting for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election is due to take place today (September 27). The Galle district secretary, Somarathne Widanapathirana says that all required measures for the endeavour have already been implemented. The number of people deemed qualified to place their votes has been identified as 1192. Widanapathirane further adds that no violent activities linked to the voting procedure have been reported so far.
