46th ARTDO Conference to be held in Sri Lanka

46th ARTDO International Conference to be held in Sri Lanka for the 1st time ever

Colombo (News 1st): The 46th ARTDO (Asian Regional Training and Development Organisation) International Conference will be held in Sri Lanka for the first time this year. Hilton Colombo will host the conference, themed "Shaping a Sustainable Future," from 23rd to 25th September. Previous ARTDO annual conferences have been held in countries such as Philippines, India, New Zealand, Fiji, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Macau, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Egypt, Australia, Middle East, and Sudan. Formed in 1974, ARTDO International is a globally branched tree with members comprising of national organizations, education and training institutes, multi-national organizations, and Human Resource Management specialists from over 30 countries worldwide. The organization works with the aim to upgrade the standards of the Human Resource Development profession through a planned program of education and skills development. A special feature at this year's conference is empowering women in leadership. Speakers include women leaders who have made a significant difference in their organizations and society at large.
