A new milestone for SL's private commercial aviation industry

COLOMBO (News 1st) - FitsAir operated its first-ever international passenger charter flight by a local private operator from Sri Lanka yesterday(August 27). The international passenger charter flight from Ratmalana to Visakhapatnam was operated by FitsAir on its 70 seater – ATR 72 aircraft. Whilst recording a historical first by any private local air operator, FitsAir has played a very silent but crucial role in the development of the local private commercial aviation industry. The flight took off on schedule and arrived ahead of schedule at Visakhapatnam. FitsAir is an international freighter operator based and operating out of Katunayake cargo hub serving the region. FitsAir operates passenger flights out of RMA and BIA to domestic airports.
