Our choice is Sajith Premadasa - Anil Ratnayaka

Colombo (News1st) - The UNP Provincial Council Members of the Anuradhapura district convened a media briefing yesterday. Former Opposition Leader of North Central Provincial Council Anil Ratnayake expressed the following views on the upcoming presidential election. He lamented that while the entire country is talking about the Presidential Election and the nomination of a Presidential Candidate, the UNP which is the single largest party in the country is still mulling over its decision.  While highlighting that the UNP consists of a large number of members, Rathnayake warned that the members would select their own candidate if the party finds it difficult to appoint a candidate. He added that the people's choice for Presidential candidate would be none other than Sajith Premadasa.
