NPP candidate to be named at Galle Face green today

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The conference of the National Peoples' Power (NPP) will be held at the Galle Face Green this afternoon (August 18). The General Secretary of the JVP Tilvin Silva said that a large number of groups supporting his party will participate in the conference. He added that the nomination of the candidate representing the national people's power will also take place today (August 18).
