Weather Update: Strong winds to reduce in the upcoming days

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Meteorology states that the prevailing strong windy condition over the surrounding sea areas is expected to reduce from July 24th. The Department of Fisheries requests the fishing communities to refrain from fishing in the coastal areas of Beruwala, Colombo, and Negombo. The Director of the Investigations Unit at the department Padmapriya Tissera states that however, the strong winds around the coastal area will prevail.
