Emergency law extended by one month

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Emergency regulations which were imposed following the April 21st attacks, has been extended by one month. It was extended via an Extraordinary Gazette issued by the Secretary to the President based on the instructions of the President. Emergency regulations came into effect following the April 21st attacks to facilitate security forces to conduct their operations smoothly.
