Wellampitiya copper factory workers provide statements to TID

COLOMBO (News 1st): Eight employees of the Wellampitiya copper factory who are currently on bail have provided statements to the Police Terrorist Investigations Division (TID) as per order by the Additional Magistrate of Colombo Priyantha Liyanage on the 27th of last month. The Additional Magistrate ordered that these individuals appear before the TID between May 28th and June 1st to provide statements. One of the employees of the factory named Karuppiah Rajendra alias Abdullah is currently in prison until June 10th. His statement was recorded while he was in prison with the court's permission.
