Lawyer scratches police constable at High Court premises

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A female lawyer was arrested for obstructing the duties of a female police constable serving at the Colombo High Court premises.
Police stated the lawyer in question had scratched the female police constable when the former was subject to a search when entering the High Court premises.
Police Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekera noted that the police constable was directed to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment.
Investigations are underway into the incident.
