Document forger arrested in Matale

Colombo (News1st) - One suspect has been arrested after the Police raided a location used to forge documents in the Ukuwela area in Matale. According to the police they were able to recover forged passports, NICs, various rubber stamps, several swords and several rounds of ammunition. Police were also able to recover 153 photographs of various individuals. The arrested suspect has been identified as a 40-year-old resident of Ukuwela. He is due to be produced before the Matale magistrate's court.
