Amal Perera and six others arrive in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Six suspects including singer Amal Perera, who were arrested with notorious underworld drug kingpin "Makandure Madush" in Dubai, have been deported to Sri Lanka.
Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted that the group reached the island at around 5am this morning.
He added, they were placed under the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department upon arrival and are being interrogated.
