Lawyer arrested with narcotic substances in Kollupitiya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Three people including a lawyer have been arrested with narcotics in their possession in Kollupitiya. The police stated that the suspects were arrested during a raid based on a tip-off. The police had seized four illegal drug capsules and 4.540 grams of a controlled substance named ICE from their possession. The Police revealed that the lawyer is a 38-year-old from Puttalam. The other two suspects are also residents of Puttalam. The suspects are due to be produced before Colombo Magistrate's court today(April 17).
