48-year-old Wellawatta resident killed in accident

COLOMBO (News 1st): An accident took place early this morning (April 13) between an Oil Bowser and a Van plying from Jaffna along the Puttalam-Chilaw main road.
The accident had one fatality, a 48-year-old female who was a resident of Wellawatta, Colombo. The incident took place while they were on their way back to Colombo following a wedding in Jaffna.
Police say the accident took place around 3 am.
