Kanjipani Imran handed over to the CCD

Colombo (News 1st): The Criminal Investigations Department has taken steps to hand over “Kanjipani Imran” alias Mohammad Najim Mohammad Imran to the Colombo Crimes Division. Kanjipani Imran along with 3 others arrived in the country this morning after being deported from Dubai. The other suspects are namely "Janga" alias Thubedura Hewa Anushka Kaushal, Sepala Rathnayake Amila Sampath, and Anderson Fernandez. Police Media Spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara noted Kanjipani Imran and Amila Sampath attempted to leave to the Maldives before they were arrested at the BIA. They were recently arrested in Dubai together with the notorious underworld leader Makandure Madush.
