JVP Leader explains the essence of Sri Lankan politics

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna Anura Kumara Dissanayake says that they remember Mahinda Rajapaksa from both before and during 2015 and that they remember Ranil Wickremesinghe also in the same manner now. Speaking at the Bala Mandala meeting of the Dodangaslanda electorate in Kurunegala, he questioned the public whether it is right to bring MR to defeat the corrupt ruling of Ranil Wickremesinghe in such a backdrop. He continued to say that on October 26th last year when MR's side had forcefully formed a government that war was created between both main parties to form a majority of 113 MPs. Dissanayake said that in turn that the media had also stressed on the fact how the MPs were being sold from one side to another through indications on a scorecard. He also said that all those who went with Ranil Wickremesinghe are considered traitors and that they are to be baited by MR at any moment. The leader of the JVP highlighted to the people that politics in Sri Lanks has now become a license to commit theft.
