Three dead in fatal three wheeler accident

COLOMBO (News1st) - Three out of six people who were travelling in a three-wheeler have died in a fatal accident in Maddalanda, Polgahawela along the Colombo - Kurunegala road today (March 15). The deceased persons include two women of the same family. Three children sustained injuries in the accident. The accident occurred when the three-wheeler had collided with a van travelling in the opposite direction. The injured children are 4, 9 and 16 years of age. They have been admitted to the Kurunegala hospital for treatment.
