Man arrested for impersonating a local politician

Colombo (News 1st): The Kandy Police arrested a man for impersonating a local politician and defrauding money promising to admit students to grade one classes in schools. The suspect was arrested after the victims had filed a complaint with the Governor of the Central Province over the scam. The suspect is to be produced before the Kandy Magistrate's Court today (March 1).
