Train strike : Locomotive engineers claim violation of agreements

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Railway Control Room stated that there is a delay in trains. The delay is caused by locomotive engine drivers at the Electric and Diesel Locomotive shed in Maradana as they are on sick leave to launch trade union action. President of the Railway Locomotive Engine Drivers Union, Indika Dodangoda said the decision was taken after authorities violated the agreements in rectifying the amendments of the schedule circular.
